Mamma Mia! at Alhambra

I had the opportunity to attend gala night for Mamma Mia at Alhambra Theatre & Dining, and boy oh boy did they dance into our hearts! This show is currently running, and will continue until September 15th.

I’ve seen Mamma Mia a couple of times now, but this was hands down one of my favorite productions. The cast was spot on, the numbers were performed brilliantly and the comedic moments were perfectly timed. Lisa Valdini as Rosie was pure perfection!

Gala night is unique because Alhambra treats you before the show begins. We started our night in a little Greek villa sipping champagne and having hors d’oeuvres. After cocktail hour we were shown to our seats and served up a three course dinner. After dinner was cleared it was time for the show to begin!

This was a show where I wanted to sing and bop along the ENTIRE time! The costumes were so beautifully done. This cast and crew brought this show & ABBA’s music to life in a big way! It is such a beautiful story of love and friendship, and the perfect show to watch with your girls! We used the show as an excuse to get dolled up in our best 70s garb and have a girls night out.

I give this show a five out of five! I highly recommend taking a trip to the dinner theatre if you’re in Jax. Make sure to stay for the dancing fun at the end! If you stick around after, you may even get the chance to meet the cast.

Cheers to the cast & crew of Mamma Mia for a terrific show!
