904 Boss Babes

Last night I attended the 904 Boss Babe’s Fall Soiree! If you haven’t attended one of their events, put the next one on your calendar stat! They host quarterly events with some pop-ups here and there, so keep your eyes out for the next one.

The networking group 904 Boss Babes was started by Jax locals Jennifer & Heather of Hollis & Hull, Ali of Alley Cakes & Grace of Sub Cultured Subs. Their mission is to bring the bad a** women of Jacksonville together to mix, mingle and help each other thrive.

Their events always offer tons of fun! The Fall Soiree was hosted at Casa Marina Hotel and had everything from great raffles benefiting The Giving Closet Project, live music by Kalani Rose, a selfie station by Smily Face Photobooth, live screen printing by Stitches & Screens (I got the cutest shirt!), and all the yummy food and drinks from Ruby Beach Brewing, The Board Grazer, The Unbridled Bar, TacoLu, Sub Cultured Subs, Alley Cakes & Drikas Cookie Jar. Combine all of this with the chance to meet local entrepreneurs and go-getters and it’s a networking dream!

Events aside these are the reasons I love 904 Boss Babes & always look forward to supporting anything they have going on:

They have created an environment of women empowerment!

These babes have created such a welcoming environment for local women to be a part of. It is a great place to network and meet other women who are trying to learn and grow in the community. They have actually helped me to be so much more comfortable walking into an event alone without being super intimidated.

They foster support not competition!

No matter what your career or craft, this group has created a place for women to connect and share ideas. There is an attitude of support and lifting other women up instead of an attitude of competition. It is clear to see at these events that you can support other women wholeheartedly without hindering your own success!

They support local causes!

Each of these events always supports a great, local cause. These events offer a way to help raise money & awareness for local nonprofits. I’ve learned about some causes that I didn’t even know existed through these events!

They have created an environment to help women thrive in Jax!

These events are a great way for new businesses, or in my case new blogs, to get their names out there and to meet other women who are out there grinding too.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this group of women, so if you ever have a chance to pop into a 904 Boss Babes event, DO IT!!!!
